Beginner Blacksmithing (1-2 Students)

Learn what it’s like to be a blacksmith! In this two-hour course, we will go over safety, tools/equipment, blacksmithing fundamentals, and you will make your very own coat hook.
Bring a friend! Two students can forge their hooks at the same time.
This class is mandatory if you would like to participate in more advanced classes
Fundamentals of Bladesmithing (1 Student Only)

Forge a simple “blacksmith’s knife” in this extensive class where we will learn the science behind the craft. We’ll heat treatment, fire control, how to work with carbon steel, grinding, sharpening/honing, and more!
Students must first complete the Beginner Blacksmithing class in order to be eligible for Forge Time

Have a project that you want to work on? Are you set on learning a specific skill? Then Forge Time is for you! For two hours, students will have access to most of the tooling and equipment in the shop, along with my guidance and expertise.
Bring a friend! The forge can accommodate up to two students simultaneously.
